Dada Hariprananda organized a vegetarian lunch. 250 tickets were sold. Many persons came and out of this fund raising R$ 1000.00 (US$ 500) net profit was collected. The money was invested in Master unit to do renovations for a lecture hall. Classes on philosophy also been started in master unit and students gave contribution after the class. R$ 300.00 donation has been collected.Sisters in Porto Alegre offered an apartment for the Didis Jagriti in Porto Alegre. With much struggle by Kamalesh and Mirabai the school in Guarapiranga (south Sao Paulo) has now taken over another pre-school which was going to close.The existing cr=E8che has 68 children and the new school has 120 children. In the Didi=B4s school in Peri Alto 120 children are benefited in the day ca=re center. The children stay in our cr=E8che the whole day and they get free education and meals.
Dada Ranendrananda conducted a retreat for members of the Mayan Calendar group in nearby Mairipora, introducing them to Ananda Marga practices.
Brasilia – Two yoga centers are running with a total number of students of 60. Every Wednesday there is group meditation followed by study group. 15 margiis participate in this program. In the University of Brasilia free yoga classes have been started by Bro. Pradiip and Sis. Nevidita, Sis. Cinmaya and Bro Hopes. After the yoga class a study group in Neo-Humanism is conducted. At the moment 12 students are benefited in this program.
The new Day Care Center in Terra Viva has 40 children and is being benefited with free transportation, food and education. And in the night, Adult education classes were also started. This is a new AMURT project in Brasilia.

Ananda Kiirtana MU, Juiz de Fora – A hall for dormitory was constructed in the top of kitchen complex for accommodations during the Winter Retreat. 115 people participated in the retreat. In the Congress of the Nation building in Buenos Aires there was a RAWA presentation followed by a public speech by Dada Jitendriya with the flag of Argentina flying at the back. 120 people were present in this program. This was the first time the Congress of Argentina welcomed Ananda Marga. Unit committee was created and ideological classes have started for the margiis. AMURT project of feeding the street people soup and bread in the night is still going six nights a week. AMURT / AMURTEL were registered in Argentina. In Villa Carlos Paz Dada Jitendriya gave a Seminar on Yoga and Harmony in the Three Spheres of Existence attended by 12 people. Dada also visited Tucuman visiting various Yoga centers. Diocese Retreat of Buenos Aires Bhukti was attended by 25 people. Acaryas Ramashrayananda and Jitendriya were in attendance; Ac Jitendriya gave spiritual philosophy class entitled “Mantra Caetanya”; participants also enjoyed an Art Workshop; 9 hrs Akhanda Kiirtan; Katha Kiirtan and Baba’s video 23 people attended a seminar in the George Elliot Institute of English in Capital Federal given by Dada Jitendriya entitled “Biopsychology, Yoga, Health and Happiness”. The seminar was well received and the Principal has requested Dada to give regular classes in meditation and philosophy. Repairs and paint work are continuing in ERAWS regional office in Buenos Aires and more than 30 students are attending Yoga classes being conducted by sisters Sarada and Vikranti in the newly formed “Centro de Yoga yMeditacion” in Buenos Aires

An Amurt team consisting of Dada Vimaleshvarananda and Margiis went to the area and distributed school materials and food to many children in outlying areas. The suffering people were very grateful and inspired by this service.
Theatre and classes on health issues etc were also presented. Since then Dada has visited the area following up contacts.
